Collage of digital photographs shot of the Huntington Beach wetlands. The most preserved areas in Huntington Beach are protected wetlands, this area is juxtaposed by the the city biggest atrocities. The dump which is a toxic landfill, the sewage sanitation plant and the industrial powerplant all surround the immediate perimeter of the nature preserve. The wetlands have always seemed like an afterthought. It would be alarming if developing modern civilizations showed a pattern of trivializing nature and diminishing their spaces to a quarter of a city block... oh wait, do you hear it too?
